A warehouse constitutes a substantial risk in the case of fire: very intense thermal radiation, smoke or toxic gas emissions.  Fire protection is a priority for GSE. 

Various solutions are proposed:

• sophisticated air-analysis detectors installed,
• installation of automatic water spray extinguishers (sprinklers) or foam production extinguishers.
• separation of buildings into fire-walled compartments.
• building placed at a distance from the plot boundary to avoid fire spreading into neighbouring properties,.
• creation of fire water basins. 
• the use of wood, a renewable natural resource, is preferred in the construction of building frames as it has a higher level of fire resistance than steel.
